I am moving to Bytehaven WebWorks. This is run by a friend, fellow WP user and also a user of some of my plugins. The problem with DreamHost is inconsistency. Much of the time (here in the UK) everything would be fine but you could always tell when the USA started to wake up! And when things ground to a halt the answer was always the same: "There was a heavy load on your server". As I say - they seem like nice people but i think they have attracted more business then they can deal with and still retain the throughput.

I have not moved to get extra speed of delivery - just a more consistent speed more of the time!

So who you moving to? Am in the midst of trying to find a different hosting co myself and was going to go with Dreamhost, maybe not now?

Well that explains why I can"t download the latest version of SimpleForum! Of course, if only I would have done it when I received the notification I would have saved myself loads of hassle.
