Would be great to have the section heading as an active link.

and ideally configurable

ie. set ‘favourite’ default for that section.
- for instance i tend to manually change the default from manage links to add link when on the normal menu - oh yeah while you’re at it a terminology change from blogroll to links would be handy - i’ve been hacking the admin files to do that - which needs to be redone each time i upgrade WP…sigh…

Is it just me or what?

I can tell you that as far as ‘blogroll’ is concerned it is not just you but just about everyone except the WP devs. There was a long discussion a few weeks back on this and ‘Links’ was the favourite by a very long way but the devs ignored it. Well, Mullenweg ignored it!

The current code setup does not support allowing the menu bar to be a link but I am hunting around for an alternative… if I find one that has the identical capability but can allow those one or two extras then I will try and convert so keep a watch open.
