Just a little quick question, why the dashboard menu is excluded in the menus?
I have several plugins installed that put their menu in sub dashboard menu.

You know… I don't have any and I was convinced when there were plugins under the dashboard they would show up. I don't know what I was thinking of! Anyway - I see the problem now.
Well - this was a sort of 'pre-2.5-release' that would 'beta' as 2.5 itself beta's. I'll work on that one today and update the plugin.

Hi!
I don't know, maybe is not the bug but…
“Dashboard” submenu in “Dashboard” menu leads to wp-admin/admin.php?page=index.php instead of wp-admin/index.php where actual dashboard is located…

How odd. It doesn't on my own site…. And it's not the way it's coded. Are you jusing any plugins that might massage the urls at all?

The urls for the various menu entries are actually compiled by the WP menu code. All my plugin does is reformat them into a format the new menu needs and brings in the remainder of the submenus that WP would not normally show. This is why the Dashboard menu url should be correct because I inherit it directly from WP code. I know many of these plugins and doubt they are responsible so I am as bewildered as you I am afraid.
