I have just installed the WP 2.3.3 version 2.2.1 of Admin Menus in my WPMU v.1.3.3 site and it does work well when installed under the PLUGINS directory…


Site-Wide availability using the mu-plugins directory should be simple and I will look at that code this afternoon. (no sub folder recursion in the mu-plugins directory is a pain)


doncha is working on updating the WPMU code to bring it in line with the new WP 2.5 build (WPMU 1.5) so we expect that the WPMU menues will change to fit that format as well.


Although the current build is 1.3.3, a new trunk is available and I will be testing WPMU 1.5-beta with Admin Menus 2.5 shortly.

MU compatability was easier than I thought…


in aamenus.php edit line 38


$plugin_uri= trailingslashit(get_option('siteurl')) . 'wp-content/plugins/' . $dir;

to:


$plugin_uri= trailingslashit(get_option('siteurl')) . 'wp-content/' . $dir;

Upload THE CONTENTS OF advanced-menus folder to wp-contents/mu-plugins/


That's it…


Advanced Admin Menus are automagicly activated for all users


Andy, I would like to post this EDITED version of AAM v2.2.1 on the WPMUDEV.ORG site under the name MU-Advanced Admin Menus, if that is alright with you.
