Support Forum : Error Invalid argument supplied line 148

Me again,

I was testing to see how I could add categories and rooms. Which I did but when I went in from the front end and tried to add a topic. This is what I got.

Well I can see a little tidy is on order in that bit of code but… the suggestion is that you have no blog categories. Is that the case? When you perform a link it wil use the categories defined in your WP blog. I am guessing there are not any.

If that is not the case please let me know and we'll look a little deeper.

Er… what's a 'room'?

You are correct. I did click categories but did not check any of them. Then the error happened. I also tested with checking a category and then it worked.

But… :) Should it not give a message of some sort if I don't pick a category? And ask me to pick one. I am guessing my readers are going to have the same problem. Is there a way to fix that?

It's a small error and I have ficed it for V4.

Your users are only allowed to create linked posts if they are allowed to create blog posts in your blog. If you have many users who are allowed to do this then I can send you a code fix but NOT having a  category is allowed in WP. I just need to deal with the condition in a better way.
