hello andy,
when I activate your plugin, the options menu of this plugin disappears: http://planetozh.com/blog/my-projects/wordpress-plugin-who-sees-ads-control-adsense-display/
could you have a look and maybe determine if the problem lies on your side or on the other? I could also give you access to the backend to see for yourself…
P.S. thats a great new plugin, maybe it still has some bugs to iron out… I also posted on that authors page, you'll see my comments as ovidiu :-9

Oh dear - this is one of them! I have just installed the plugin and I can see the menu option just fine. Every now and then - though rarely - someone has a problem like this which I am totally unable to replicate which means, of course, that it is just about impossible to troubleshoot and offer advice.
Just double-check that you did download the correct version (WP2.0 or WP 2.1/2.2). Other than that I have no idea why this just sometimes happens. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with either plugin. Sorry…

ok, the other author, see the link to the plugin page, says that your advanced admin menus is based on one of his plugins? maybe one function is used twice or something like that?
I'll double check if I have all the latest versions and maybe try using another one of your admin menu plugins

Yes - originally is was based on one of his plugins but it has moved on a long way since then! It is doubtful there is any clash because, as I say, I get the menu perfectly.

I seem to get "one of these situations" quite often, don't I?
well then there is nothing I can do - I tried also your spotmilk theme plugin but that gives the same error…
very strange as like I said, I only activated these two plugins at a time :-(

Do you? I know they crop up from time to tme. The code in the menu plugins are all about the same - it is only the interface which is different. Seriojusly - if it failed for me here I could almost certainly resolve what the problem is.
So what are the other problems? Are they related perhaps?

I tried to have a look at what happens when activating advanced admin menus, the only thing I coudl find out was this:
Error in parsing value for property '-moz-opacity'. Declaration dropped.
Unknown property 'filter'. Declaration dropped.
using firebug on firefox but I just noticed with IE7 I do see the who sees adds menu !?
regarding other problems: I have other "somewhat open" issues psoted in your forum, and I remember at least once we already stopped discussing the problem as neither me nor you had any ideas what else to do to solve the problems
P.S. MOST IMPORTANT:
while writing this comment, I solved my issues it was Adblock Plus blocking that who sees ads options menu after deactivating the adblock filter on my testdomain, all is well again, sorry for all these problems.

Well it's nice to know what the culprit is but it would also be nice to know why. Do you have a link for it?
Come on, help me out here as this forum get's quite busy at times! - Remind me what the 'open issue' is in case anythign has changed!

hello andy,
sorry for not being more specific yesterday, but my day got busier at work.
Adblock Plus is a firefox extension that blocks ads, pop-ups, etc. Strange enough it was only blocking the who-sees-ads menue when your advanced admin menues was activated. That must have resulted in a menue structure that triggered its filters. http://adblockplus.org/en/
regarding the other open issues:
I would have reminded you but I am a little confused about how to find stuff in this forum. I was expecting a feature that woudl allow me to click on my profile and have a button: view all your posts or maybe a search function to search for all my posts, but it seems tehre is no such thing.
Don't get me wrong, I love your forum, but this is about the first time I need to search my old posts and I have no clue how to do this. I usually do not subscribe to forum posts by email as my mailbox tends to get full quite fast…
I tried the blog-wide search in your header, but that did not yield any results. Am I missing something here? How am I supposed to find my old posts?

You're right. No tool for that.
But it's a good idea…. and not hard of difficult to get done…
