Hi,
Love Advanced Admin Menus. I'm trying to use it on a WPMU 1.5 install. Everything works fine except that the blogswitcher disappears. I've tried to hack the code using PlanetOzh's MU specific code - but it's still a no-go.
Anybody have any insight on this so I can use AAMenus instead of Ozh's?
THanks!

If you are using the AAMenus for wpmu from the wpmudev.org site then you need to upgrade to the next version of AAMenu from here on wpmu1.5
the one on the wpmudev.org site is only for wpmu 1.3.3 or lower.
Also, the latest version is not native to wpmu, it must be placed in the plugins folder, not the mu-plugins.
Using a wpmu plugins manager you should be able to activate it for all blogs, but I think just leaving it there as an available option for your users, gives a better user experience.

I am using the latest version from here. The problem that I'm having is for users with multiple blogs. The blog switcher (which is generally at the top of WPMU 1.5) completely disappears, and there is no way to switch admin back office for multiple blogs.

I see… Hmmm…
You are right, as admin you have access to the adminmenu and can select the backend of any blog, but as a user there is no way to change to a second or third blog. (normally not a problem if they only own one blog.)
As normal wordpress 2.5+ doesn't have this menu, andy didn't account for it in his code. when he gets back from vacation I'll point this thread out to him and give him whatever code pieces he'll need to understand what's going on with WPMU .
this may take a while to fix, as Andy is extremely busy with SPF as well.

Thanks!
PlanetOzh's has the MU specific code in his admin menu plugin - but I don't like his code as much, and I couldn't hack it together. But it might be something that would help.
I like the way the original blog switcher works in MU 1.5 - if that could just not be altered? I don't know if it's possible to do that?
