I imagine you are aware of this, but clicktags 1.0 doesn't work on WP 2.5 (I doubt it will on the final version either). I hope you are able to update the plugin, as it would be hard to live without it!

I hope so too
It's the plan anyway…

I have become 100% dependent on this fantastic plugin. Why the
devlopers have not contacted you to implement it as an option for users
to toggle on/off is beyond me. Without a doubt, it is superior.
I'm looking forward to seeing an updated version of this plugin. Any idea as to when one will be available?

I put the WP 2.5 version up for download last night in fact. Visit the plugin page.
I think it has minority appeal because the majority of people seem to just relentlessly define new tags. I keep mine to a smaller, contained number and hence it suits my style.
Glad you fnd it useful.

Andy, thanks for releasing this so quickly. I guess I should have checked the download page first.
I, too, keep my blogs on topic and do not have a need for 200+ keywords. As such, your plugin ensures consistency and also helps avoid mistakes such as typos erroneously being used as tags, and going unnoticed until after the fact.
For me, this plugin is in my necessity list. I don't use many plugins (4 total), but I can't imagine wordpress without click tags.
Thanks. Very much appreciated.

I've been using clicktags 2.0 on 2.5 rc 1.1 for a few days without any problems. Today I wrote about ten entries, when the list suddenly quit showing. Cleared the browser cache, deactivated/activated plugin, but can't get it to work now. Strange, because nothing changed, I was just making multiple entries. Same problem with IE 7.

Did you activate any other plugin at all or make any other changes to the system?
It's a little strange they should disappear. I still have mine (which doesnlt help you I know).

Nope! I was just making a batch of about 20 entries, when they vanished. Didn't do anything else, activate plugins. I'll do a new install of bleeding edge WP 2.5 tonight, and let you know if that solves the problem.

I have just spent a couple of hours this morning trying to break it and so far… without success! I'm sorry but I just can't replicate this so it is hard to know what may be wrong.
The only 'bug' have found which I will need to correct and was a silly error) is that it only displays tags that have actually been used in posts. Any defined in the new tag screen that are not yet used are not shown. But this doesn't sound like it will be your problem as you have had it working OK.
I am sorry. I will continue to look try and discover the problem but so far I have drawn a complete blank.

Well, ahem. After wasting way too much time, I figured it out. The bug is still there (I suppose in the core), where if there is an apostrophe in a tag, it borks your plugin. As I was making the posts, I added the tag “Ken's”. Crash and burn. Since I reported this bug back in WP2.3, I feel really stupid now.
Appreciate all your hard work!

Looks like we got there together! I've only just logged in to the forum and found this message having solved the problem earlier this evening!
