I have this website:
http://www.kulturvesterbro.dk/
The tabs are pages and the frontpage is a blog. I would like a blog here:
http://www.kulturvesterbro.dk/raahuset/koncerter-raahuset
Or have that page act as a blog.
Its a concert page. And I would like that page to appear where it does AND on the frontpage where it would behave as a blogpost. I’ve made a test on my own website:
http://mark.gazel.dk/test
And attached the blog category "Musik". I doesn’t appear on the frontpage though, only in the archive for "Musik".
http://mark.gazel.dk/weblogs/musik
All the blogs are set to appear on the frontpage, except one (bogmærker).
Am I doing something wrong? Could I appoach it differently if I want a page to appear in the flow on the index? That means behave like at post on the frontpage and as a regular page too.
Thanks in advance.

i think maybe i have a similar problem. i am using the opt-in front page plug in and page category plus in the hope that if i gave the page the correct category (in this case "blog") that it would appear at the front of the blog but i am getting a not found message. do you know if what i am trying to do is possible? great site by the ways! very useful tutorials. thanks
ps of course the easiest thing to achieve this would be to upgrade to 2.1 or later since it has a front page version built in but this broke my blog and i have spent many hours of misery rebulding it

You know I have just re-read that top post and I’m not that sure I follow it!
If what you are saying is that you want a WP ‘page’ to always be the initial view a visitor gets (in pre-2.1 WP) then I am pretty sure there is a plugin that achieves that. You certainly wont be able to do that with my pkugin and… the plugn you are referring to here will most certainlynot work on any WP version prior to 2.3.
Or am I misunderstanding?

woa
i am not sure whose post you are replying to there andy
are you saying the page category plus plug in won’t work with 2.04?
that would explain why no pages show up in pcp management window even though i have made some with categories!

Absolutely. I think you’ll find it states it clearly on the plugin page that this a 2.3 plugin only Sorry.

Hello
Have you had a look at my problem?
Should I explain further?

Well you can explain further but as far as I can tell the question doesn’t seem related to my plugin - more to the flow of WP
