Hi there,
I was very anxious doing the WP 2.5 upgrade on my blog : http://www.vansclubdefrance.org …so I did it tonight…
Surprisingly, everything went OK….
……except the home (index) page of the site which is not working properly…???…..it seems that the index is now calling for NOTHING …whereas the main menu is still working fine and so does the rest of my website actually……???……….It appears that page number 1 only is messing up the whole thing…other pages are OK…
It is very frustrating of course having that single bloody home page not working.
Do you think “paged navigation” is not fully compatible WP 2.5 ?….Any significant changes in the code for that <?php paged_menu(); ?> function not working ?….
Cheers.

No, Sorry to say that it is working just fine for me and has done throughout the 2.5 development which I have been using for a couple of months now.
And I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't…
Did you change anything else along with the upgrade?

……OK !……..got it………plugin “StickyPosts” was interfering with your “Paged Nav” and was responsible for that strange behavior……..got rid of it and everything is back to normal !…
Btw, many thanks for Simple:Press forum
Cheers !

I have a similar problem after I upgrated to WP 2.5.1
Now the navigation doesnt show and when I deactivate the plugin the whole footer disapears!
Do you have an idea of whats wrong?

To be honest - the same answer as above. Most usually it will be a plugin conflict of some sort. Wp 2.5 certainly didn't force any changes. I am intrigues as to wghat relation there is between this plugin and your theme footer however. Is that where you out it? And iof so - when you deactvated it did you remove the code? if you left the code in place and no plugin it will stop processing at the point of the code and usually, but not always, put up an error message.
Actually - I can't see it working in the footer than well.
