hi,
i would like to use your plugin for my purposes at:
http://blog.berlinbalboa.com/workshops/
but every e-mail adress i enter shows me this message: This Email Address is Already Subscribed
and not the expected "success, your adress has been added (or something similar)"
if you know a solution, it would be appreciated.

Very weird! I'm not sure what is causing this.
I am going to email you a replacement file to try which I have changed sluightly to ensure we are not just hitting a database problem. Perhaps you would be good enough to tell me the result.

No - replace the whole file. /plugins/punmail/punmail.php - just copy it over - it's the same file with a small code change.

I am a bit lost for ideas to be honest. I tried signing up myself and got the same result. I just tried again - first unsubscribing - but still get the same problem.
I don't see any possible code problem. All it does is try and select the entered email address in your database table and if it returns a row then it has to be subscribed.
I can only think of one more possibility which might be a php or mySQL version problem. If you are happy to try it I'll send the code file once again - with another small change - to see if that sorts it but after that I am a little stuck for ideas I'm afraid.
