hello,

I am still working on a page, showing all users profiles, will make a check if browsing user is logged in and if not only show a small part of users profiles, otherwise show all details. check out here: http://www.die-kellerkinder.eu/about/

Now my problem is I do add certain fields to the users profile with this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/register-plus/

any ideas how to synchronize the wordpress user profile with the forum profile? any ideas? I mean those added fields do not show up in the forum profile, but the forum profile also has more fields than the blog profile this is all so confusing for users…

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this in future?

sorry to be a nuisance but I just have to correct myself: the fields ICQ and Skype which I created with the register plus plugin, seem to have been synchronized with the two existing fields from teh forum profile named ICQ and Skype.

Thats great news, now I only need to figure out all user profiel fields that the Forum adds/uses

I am just confused by the translations. I added a field called ICQ with register plus, only to find out, that users had already entered their ICQ number in their forum field named ICQ… I guess tehre are some issues with the translation, as SF does not add the field ICQ just the 4 mentioned above..
