Although it’s minor, I think it helps the readability of the forum if the forum has different alternated background for the posts in the thread page (and forum page).

Also, the date in the "Started" column of the forum page seems to be missing spaces in between the "-". Example: 3 Jan 2008-12:27 pm. Should have been 3 Jan 2008 - 12:27 pm?

Also, can you have an option to "Remove" the math comment spam for login users?

A search radio button for "Members" to search Members?

This feature will be included in the upcoming 3.0 release

For the Math Comment Spam protection, I did look at the "Spam Detection" under the "Global" tab, but there’s only a check box for Moderators and Admin. There’s no check box to uncheck for "Login User" =P.

Search Member: there is a plugin called "Search Everything" which can be use to search for almost everything + the Member "username/email/etc."

However, if you do implement this, I think you can use the "Search Users >>" form on the WordPress "Users" admin back-end (should be easy to implement?).

*Also, wouldn’t it be consistent (& better) to use the same Date, Time and Username format in the "Started" and "Last Post" columns as "Post" page.

Example for this "Post" page:

Example of using the same format for "Started" and "Last Post" columns:

Currently, you can either disable spam tools for all users (guests and logged in) or disable them for admins and moderators…

The upcoming 3.0 version will give you much greater control over who uses and who does not use the spam tools…

I am a bit confused over what you want to search… do you only want to search WP users?  Cant you install that plugin in use it?

If you want that plugin to search the SF content, it wont do it…  SF uses its own tables and that plugin doesnt know about it.  The SF post data is not stored as a WP page and is thus dynamically generated from its own tables…

If you are saying you want to add a search users button to the SF page to have SF search through users, you will have several options to do that in v3.0

we are investigating to see if we can create a few generic buttons/links that can be made available for admins to do what they want with them.  If it makes it in 3.0, it may be able to accomplish this

Almost every rendering function in 3.0 will be pluggable… want to add your own features?  just plug your own function (such as this search users) in there…

And lastly, if I have been too long winded and you are simply looking for a way to search forum user from within SF, we can put it on the wish list as we have several other search items on that list…

O.K. So, I have just registered for an account =P.

Also, if you’re going to make this plugin ‘pluggable’, I recommend you have a separate domain to keep track of the development (I’m seeing HUGE HUGE developments ahead =)… Maybe a wiki style docs format - ONCE the flood gate is open?
