Hi Andy,
its me again. One of my forum members asked me to implement an option, to subscribe to the complete forum, so that he gets announced by any new topic in any forum. … like the RSS Feed for the complete Forum on start-page.
Greetings from Berlin & thx for addding the download to your section
(but what about a link to my homepage? "milo" has got one too!?)

Tha could result in a lot of emails flowing out which might upset some hosts but I;’ll ponder it. I am also pondering use of feedburner at the moment as well which might help more.
You DO have a link don’t you? What am I missing?

Mhh, ok - its just a request by ONE of my users. I already recommended to use the RSS Feeds.
In ur downloads section there is just the Link to the German Version of "punmail" but no nice reference to me like milo has one There is defenitly no "by Doc" Link next to the download like in the iconset section.

Ah - sorry. Just there. Email me the exact link you’d like and it will be done. Sorry.

You know, Feedburner will do this for you. The short version is: sign up for Feedburner (free), input your full forum feed address, go to the Publicize tab, choose Email Subscriptions, adjust the settings to your liking.
On edit: I see you already mention Feedburner.

It’s possible (although not yet certain) that the next version of the forum will build in better support for use of feedburner. At the moment it’s a thought…!

It’s actually something that we have been discussing for quite a while, working bugs out and such.
One of my client blog owners with SF created her own sidebar item listing all of her RSS and Email subscribe links using Feedburner.
It’s not hard, just a general logistical issue.
