I’m running what could be one of the busiest boards that use SF, and there’s quite a few "bugs" that the computer nerds on those boards are reporting…

Here’s a couple of requests:

 When changing the ‘Display Name‘ in user profile settings (in wordpress, the ‘Display Name‘ is not changed in Simple Forum.  I have just changed my display name in Wordpress to Rance from djRoME and the forum still refers to me as djRoME.

The ‘Most Recent Topics With Unread Posts‘ block isn’t sorted by chronology, and that’s something that my users are interested in as well, newest at top, oldest below using the ‘Last Post’ column for sorting.

 Please know that the users on the forum do have a rough tone when reporting bugs, it has mostly to do with the premise of the website that the forums are on.  It’s an internet TV gaming show with extremely explicit language and harsh American tone, so excuse the crude whining lolz  its all part of the act.

Of course, any streamlining of code to lower page render times is greatly appreciated, especially in a decent traffic forum like ours.

this screen cap shows that the most recent threads is NOT sorted chronologically, at least by last post which is what they want

The first users’ report was that if you have pagination set at 20 posts, if there are 20 posts in the thread the thread is a blank page until post 21 comes, then it paginates correctly.

The second users’ report was one of a missing icon in the install, shown in this image:

Again, the users do curse alot, but they are right and are mimicking the character of the TV show (Epileptic Gaming) whose website they are on… You weren’t able to read thru their language I guess I wouldnt expect anyone who speaks the king’s english to handle it anyway

Thanks for setting me straight on the Display Name report, I hadn’t tested it with a non-admin account, sot hat makes sense.

Hope this clears up the report and gives you a few things to think about.
