I think it would be nice to implement a column sorting mechanism, so that, in the topics list page, users can sort topic by number of messages, last post date, topic name or topic creation date clicking on the respective column header.
Reversible sorting would be great (first click -> ascending, second click -> descending)

not sure I understand how much this feature would be used… might be wrong, but sounds like a once in blue moon usage, unless I am missing something…

I’m not sure how much it would be used either, but as it is a user feature, perhaps more than we web heads think…
On the up side, I have a close friend who built this very thing in javascript… I’ll see if I can locate a copy of his opensource code
