multiple quotes and assorted concerns

I'm rather interested in the feature set you have built up thusfar, and I'm pretty certain I'll be using this plugin as a basis for the community of my site.

However, there are a few small things I've noticed while exploring the details of your setup.

My biggest concern is in the limitations of the quoting system you have. As it stands, to quote another post, you simply hit the quote button, and the post is pasted into the reply dialog. But, when I attempt to quote from multiple posts, the reply dialog closes, the previous quote is erased, and neither can exist there at the same time.

Now, I realize anyone particularly fond of quoting from multiple people can then go into the HTML mode and add another quote manually, but that brings me to my second concern regarding the quote function. A direct link to the quoted post should be pasted along with the quoted entry, such that if someone wants to truncate a long post in their quoting, the original post can be easily accessed for any interested in reading it.

Then, some additional concerns:

The avatar dimensions on the other SP forums I've investigated including this one seem universally low. Is it possible to increase the dimensions, or is this something handled in the plugin Gravatar?

The url path /sf-forum/ seems to be rather prevalent in forums using this plugin. Is this an easily changeable directory name?

And, finally, what measures are in place to prevent an assortment of HTML code from planting a potential security risk, or breaking my designs?

Thanks for your time, I'm really excited to have found such a lightweight WP forum solution as this.

Just quick responses:

  1. No plans at this time to change the 'quoting' operation
  2. You can choose whatever size you want for avatars
  3. 'sf-forum' is just something people don't bother to change. I wish they would. It's been changed just to 'forum' now beause of this
  4. We use the same content filtering code etc., as WP does. Amd we are lookng at toughening those filters to trap more of those issues where people cut and paste from external sources.
