In preparation for the release of Simple:Press Version 4.0, the Support Forum has moved to a new site dedicated to the plugin. This will also be the future home for Simple:Press Forum.

Hello,

First, i'm french and i don't speak english very well.

I looking for add simple forum on a new window, not on the content of wordpress.

To link like this => forum.myDomain.com

Someone know how i can do for it?

Sadly I am unable to answer in French. Sorry about that.

Simple:Press Forum can not operate without WordPress. It shares WP code, framework and registered Users. What you describe sounds more like a sub-domain but that too would need to have WP installed into it first and that would NOT share users with your main site.

however, if you were to have it installed under wordpress and really exist at myDomain.com/forum, it is possible to use an htaccess rewrite rule or wp redirection plugin to make it appear that its actually located at forum.myDomain.com…  however, if you really want it to exist outside of wp, as Andy says, that cannot be done…
