I was originally aiming to release it around 24th January. This was because WP V2.4 was due on that date and I needed to add a little support for it. When WP 2.4 was scrubbed in favour of a March/2.5 release that took the pressure off so a few items that had to be cut were introduced. I can give you a rough timeline though…

I shall decide on whether V3 is code complete in the next two days. At that point (assuming it is), I shall start using it on this site here as that is still the best testbed I have. After a few days and a week at the outside, I shall send the code to one or two people who help test off-line and also ask a small handful of users who have expressed an interest in beta-testing whether they want to risk it! The testing period is the difficult one to predict of course as nobody knows what problems may come up that need dealing with and how difficult they will be to resolve. So it could be two, three, four weeks? Who knows.

But i am very keen to get it out there. If nothing else I could do with the break!
