Hi there,

Sorry if I am not posting this in the right section but could not find a better place. I am new(ish) to wordpress and new to this forum. Works great and looks great but I am using the mandigo theme with very narrow central area (and 2 side bars).

You mention in your doc that you have create a custom template for your forum page so the side bars are not displayed.

Could you please tell me how to do this? could you please send me your template file?

I tried only using:

get_header();

get_footer();

But this does not display the forums…

I think I need to use the "loop", but not sure how to call it…

Now that I am thinking of it this is prob more of a wordpress question than a forum question…

Thanks again for your great work!

Sidebar to the right - click on the ‘Articles’ tab - there is a tutorial on how to do it. And it is easy!

THanks for the quick reply…

at the same time I was browsing through the wordpress docs and found a way of doing it.

In a nutshell (if anyone needs to know!)

- Copy the page.php to something like nosidebars.php

- remove any mention of sidebar calls

Easy indeed… should have waited a bit more before asking the question.

Your forum app rocks!!!!! :)

Having said that, not sure if it is a bug or if it is related to me using safari 3.0 on leopard but:

- when publishing I need to do the math, ok

- but if I enter the number in the box, even if I click on save new post, nothing happens… I need to be in the "math box" and then hit enter for the post to occur

In fact, it looks like I need to click out of the "math box" to be able to click on "save new post"… is this normal?

…AND you have clicked out of the math box. "Guest" is right.

Is there a way to disable the math? I couldnt see any options to do so

My forums are only available to registered users so I don’t need it.

Cheers,
