With my new theme which fixes a page problem, Simple Forum is working fantastically.  Thank you so much for this.

I'm curious to know if there is any way to get recent posts reported on other pages, IE: in a Widget for the sidebar which shows the last 2 or 3 posts.

If not currently possible, I'd be certainly interested in it being implemented in the future!

In any case, thank you again!

Almost certainly with 1.5 - that's the plan. Donlt know about a widget though… I've not done a widget yet!

What would you like to see reported in the list?

With space being a concern for sidebar items, I'd say:

post title (limited 9 chars), last poster (limited 7 chars), last post date and time on probably a new line, or as a tooltip mouseover.

I'm not sure of the complexity of doing it, but maybe taking a page from the excellent Polls or Post Ratings plugins by Lester Chan.  The benefit of the setup there is that the poll templates are very customizeable from within the admin screen using defined variables.

By far this would be the best method IMHO, but again, I'm not sure if it is beyond the scale of what you want to do.  I'll be happy with either. ;)
