hello Andy,


I was jsut going to upgrade to 1.8 on my wpmu install when I read your warning:

IMMEDIATELY AFTER Installing OR Upgrading Simple Forum Version 1.8, go directly to the Manage > Simple Forum Administration Panel and click on the: Update Permalink button. This will set the forum permalink structure to your site permalink structure. Well.. all being well it will!

Will it break my sites otherwise? Now this is a problem for wpmu, imagine I'd have some 100s of bloggers and 50 of them using the forum plugin :-) this would bring all to a halt until I log into all of them and click that button? Or what exactly would happen if I don't do it? Anyway I am going to test it right now as currently there are only 2 installations of the forum plugin on my system :-)

If there are major problems I can tell you how to put it back the way it was. Pretty easy.
