I have recently noticed this. maybe I'm doint something wrong !

If I create a few blog entries (say for a weekend when I'm going to be away) and change the posting timestamp to (say next day) , and select to create forum post for that blog entry, after the weekend, looking at the blog entrues, they seem ok, and  the link still appears in the blog entry to go to the forums, but the entry doesnt exist in the forum.

I have searched the support forums for stuff like this but can't find anything - what am i doing wrong - or is this a bug ??

actually, this is a known problem with wordpress, (though I haddn't thought to test it with SPF)

The documented issue is that future posts do not ping at the time of their posting, that is to say, they do not notify other blogs and ping services that a new post has been made, when the publication date rolls around…

There have been a few attempts at fixing this issue, and I believe there is at least one plugin that claims to have fixed it. I have not tested it myself.
