Hi, i use the advanced-mce plugin to edit and write stuff on my page.

Is it somehow possible to use it in the simple-forum? and if - how?,

Are you referring to the rich text editor you use to write WordPress posts? if so then this is the same one. Some of the plugins have been removed but you are free to add them. They are all available from Moxie along with the instructions.

advanced mce is a WP plugin that adds a bunch more options/features to tinymce within wordpress…  I think it adds plugins to the tinymce plugins folder beside its own WP plugin files…

That’s right. It adds a bunch of the TinyMCE plugins from Moxie. I don’t think it does anything else does it?

Sorry guys. I was tired and perhaps should have explained more…

The WP plugin will not work in the forum but the same extras that the plugin provides can be used by getting them from the authors of TinyMCE - which is Moxie, or, more properly MoxieCode.

Extra editor components can be uploaded to the TinyMCE plugins folder and then just need to be added to the TinyMCE ‘init’ list in sf-control.php (sf_setup_header).

If anyone wants to do that I can help with the later part and advise on how to do it but it really is extremely simple process.
