I am currently getting a new forum set up for my website, using SimpleForum 1.7 and Wordpress 2.1.2.

 Everything is working great, and I like the application, but I was wondering if it was possible to do more than just subscribe to an individual topic?

What I'd really like is for all my registered users (which I am adding manually at this point as Wordpress users, Author level) to be automatically subscribed to a certain group of forums so that they will be notified of any new topics within any forums in that group.  Is that currently possible?  If not, is it something you might consider adding as a feature?

I know this is an older topic, but thought it would be appropriate to add it here as opposed to starting an entirely new thread.

One thing my users have requested often is that they can set their subscription static to automatically subscribe them whenever they reply to an entry so they don’t need to keep clicking on the subscribe link (sometimes they forget).

So, consider this a +1 for this feature request. :)
