I don't want the current forum topic to be displayed in the pages list as it breaks my horizontal page list menu - how do I do this?

not sure I follow you here… I suspect you are asking about the wordpress bug with titles… try going to your simple:press forum options page (under manage forum - options)… go to the global tab and try unchecking the “Show Forum/Topic in Page Title” option under Page Title…

if this doesnt work, please provide a link to your site so we can see what you are referring to…
