My name is Flavio and I’m form Italy.
I like so much Simple Forum but I’ve a problem, a very bad problem..
It’s impossibile to edit or delete published post from the pop-up menu, I need to edit database rows!!
Please, try in my forum to write and edit or delete the post.

ops, sorry man, I’m very distracted

I can’t approve a new post and edit/delete my post. It’s worked fine but in last two week is appening this problems. I dont remember any operation to cause my problems.
When I click in the button to approve, edit or delete… the page is reloadet without any change, I need to edit the database entities.
(please sorry for my bad english)

That’s strange. I don’t recall anyone having this problem before. Can you tell me what message you get at the top of the page when you try one of these actions?

Well if your permalinks are in sync then that is probably not the problem. I would look at any plugins you have installed recently and I would start be deactivating wp-lightbox which is a known problem (but can be worked around). Deactivate it and see if that solves the problem. If not - have you recently added any other new plugins?

I have the same problem with simple-forum, buf I don't know how to use “permalink-redirect”, because before install this plugin my page goes down…

Several of my problemes are these:
- It's impossibile to edit or delete published post or topic.
- When somebody es registred in simple forum the confirmation mail never arrive, while if this do it through wordpress it works.
- It´s impossible upload an avatar to the user because the page dont load it.
I think that it has answer all in the same problem but I dont know if it´ll related with the document including with simpleforum2.1 IMPORTANT.

Could you try deactivating the SEO Pack just to see if that makes a difference?

This is strange. There was one other user who had this problem.
So - you are logged in as Admin and you want to delete a post. You open up the tool icons to the right of the post and click on 'delete'. Do you get the 'Are you Sure' dropdown? and if so, and you click OK, does the page then refresh? And is there a message at the very top of the forum page?

The page then refresh, but in the top of the forum page nothing is diferent, it's exactly the same page

Does anyone else have any ideas on this as I am out of them? For 99.9% of users this all just works. It all uses standard Post variables, does nothing that fancy, works in all the browsers I have tried it with yet for this user and one other it fails.
Anyone? I still think it might be an environmental issue but I can't think what!
