Support Forum : Forum is showing up blank after install

Hello All,

 

Just hopign anyone can hep me out installed and configured forum with groups and forums topics when through and got everyhtig configured, updated the perma link everyhting seems to be fine, Only issue now is when I click on view/visit forum it’s blank there is no forum.  I have updated the slug and the page name.  As far as I can tell everything should be working.  Can you please take a look at the page to see excatly what I’m talking about and give me any suggestions would be greatly appreciated  I’m sure I’m missing something but not sure wht it is adn I have been searching the forums.

Well I could be wrong but will start with the obvious. I read what you say but this still looks like a missing page or - incorrect settings of page slug and page id. Double check these first. make sure the page record exists, the slug is correct and note the ID and then go into the forum options admin tab and  make sure they match exactly - even case when it comes to the slug.

One other possibility. Are you using wp-cache? Because that would explain a blank page if it came from the cache. But to be honest - looking at the html source, I cant see any evidence that a page is getting loaded.

Actually  there is one more thing to check. Open up the header.php file from your theme. Can yiou find this line of code before the /head tag:

<?php wp_head(); ?>

A lot of theme authors leave it out but it has to be there….
