Could someone take a look at http://www.pinkraygun.com/sf-forum/ and maybe point out where it is I’ve gone wrong with my CSS? It seems that my forums appear way down the page..but I’ve also run into the same problem with my gallery page as well.
I suspect CSS…but really have no way to pinpoint this issue effectively.
Thanks in advance.

A quick look didn’t reveal anything but that’s pretty dense CSS and I would need a long look at the source. Someone else might have some ideas.
By the way - have you just removed the icons and images from the forum as I see they are still specified in the CSS and HTML but none of them are showing.

I’ve not modified anything in the sf-forum install. Hmmm…perhaps some of my problem is related there?

I have the exact same problem. I am currently testing it and there is a big blank section (framed) below the page content that takes up most of the page and then has the Current User and Login info on the bottom of the framed box. Any help appreciated. Using the Minimalist Theme.
Just noticed this only seems to happen on Internet Explorer 6. IE 7 (and hopefully Firefox -testing that next) display right.
Update: actually formatting is still off in a couple places depending on the loading of the page. Any help appreciated. You can take a look at it at http://www.whatwedig.com. It is under Forum (being tested).

I don't see anything at the moment actually - just your heading text and then… nothing.
My first bet is that this is going to be something in the theme. Just for an experiment, can you change themes to say - the default that comes with WP and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't then the theme is almost certainly at fault.
It would also be interesting to know at what point in the page the forum starts (compared with other elements on the page). There might be a 'clear' statement somewhere that is causing this.
One very easy way to deal with this - if it is the theme - is to create a special template for the forum which is what I have done - removing my right hand sidebar.

You are correct. It's the theme. In default, the spacing is fine. Now, I just have to figure out how to fix that within my theme. I have it back up if you want to take a look, I deactivated it last night.
It seems all non-Frontpage pages have that spacing problem, so I'll mess with the theme to try and figure it out. I probably won't go live on this until 1.4 comes out though since my users aren't going to work well without the rich text editor.
Love the plug in by the way. It is the only one I have seen that has its own separate login and registration pages as opposed to using Wordpress's and then sending the user to the Dashboard which I do not like.

You and me both! Thats why I did it although it's only that way on the 2.1 version.
I have to go out for a while now but I will look at your site as soon as I get back.
1.4 I hope to release later today - at least the version for WP2.1 - still need to get some test feedback on WP2.0
