I stumbled on your simple forum and it’s exactly what I’m looking for. I’ve installed and played around with the css file to change the look a bit.

After installing a few test groups and forums I went to delete them and nothing happens. If I click on the edit or delete buttons under manage forums the page flashes like it’s going to load but then nothing. I’ve tried it with firefox and explorer, and even went on a mac and tried safari but they’re all doing the same.

I’m using your 1.3 version in wordpress 2.0.7.

Is there anything I need to change to get this working?

Thanks!

Seems OK here. Are you not even getting the confirmation dialog at the bottom of the screen? I made it a two step process - a sort of confirmation - because it’s so easy to make a mistake. When you click on ‘delete’ in the index rows it should bring up a dialog beneath the index for confirmation.

It’s been working OK on Firefox/Safari (Mac) and IE Windows for me and, as far as I know, everyone else so I’m a little stumped why you are getting this behaviour. Whilst I haven’t tested it on WP 2.0.7 and am unable to that shoudn’t make any difference.

I’ll give this some thought but I’m not sure where to even start looking…

Thanks for the quick reply,

I was thinking something like that was supposed to be happening. But it’s not. The page reloads but there’s no new dialog, no popup, nada.

I guess I can reinstall it, do you think that would help? I’ll play around with it.

To be honest, I doubt it. In my experience if something is missing or askew, you’re more likely to get a blank screen than anything else. And the forms you’re supposed to get are in the same code file as the index list that you ARE getting!

But you could give it a try. You never know. Sorry you’re having such an obscure problem.
