In preparation for the release of Simple:Press Version 4.0, the Support Forum has moved to a new site dedicated to the plugin. This will also be the future home for Simple:Press Forum.

Is there a way to move posts from one topic to another? There is no “move” icon for posts, in the admin view.


I see how you can move a topic from one forum to another discussion forum, but I periodically need to move individual posts from one topic to a new topic. Can this be done?


PS: I appologize if this is covered elsewhere, but the search for this support forum just keeps dropping me back to the Home page with no results.

this is not supported in v2.1 and will not be…


however, if you care to upgrade to v3.x, this feature is currently planned for version 3.1


of course, you can do this with phpmyadmin in your mysql database now if you are comfortable doing so…

As it stated above there is no tool yet for moving posts from one topic to another.

You have been able to move topics from one forum to another since version 1

thanks! im still researching the features as i didn't really have time for it since i installed it
