finally I got my password recovered by you and remembered what I wanted to post. on my install, when I activate the plugin, the forum page is created just fine, but the updated date does not get set, the page is still unpublished and thus unusable until I edit it and save it, even without making changes….

 I'll try and show you what it looks like in my manage pages menue:

 I hope you understand what I mean and btw. I am using the 1.4 version you sent by mail for wpmu testing purposes, I did not download the new 1.4 version as I did not have the problems itshould fix.
