Support Forum : SF installed...URL not found

In preparation for the release of Simple:Press Version 4.0, the Support Forum has moved to a new site dedicated to the plugin. This will also be the future home for Simple:Press Forum.


Version 3.1.4 will still be available for download here in the short term.

I’m confused.  Just to let you know, I’ve installed Simple-Forum before and absolutely love it.

I’m putting together a new site and for some reason, I’m getting a 404 error saying that the url is not found.  The troubleshooting section mentioned making sure that the WP page slug and Simple-Forum are the same.  It is.

I’ve updated both WP and SF permalinks…still receive the error.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Please remember that I just started building the site today so there’s not alot of content as of yet.  Once I get this issue resolved, I can begin to move along.

Bernard,

This is because you dont have a .htaccess file, so your rewrite rules dont work… none of you pages other than the front page work… Copy the .htacces file from one of your other sites and you should be good to go…
