This may be taken either as a bug report for the current version or as a feature request for the next version, or, preferably, both.

When there is a post that has not been approved by a moderator, two things happen that are counter to expectations.

First, it shows up in the RSS feed anyway. Unapproved posts should not show up in the RSS feed.

Second, a notification is sent to people who have subscribed to the thread’s email subscriptions. A notification should not be sent until the post is approved.

OK, yep, That’s a bug.

As we are well into the development of 3.0 there may not be an available fix for the current 2.1 version, But I will make a note to test for this in 3.0.

Andy has stopped sending me 3.0 test builds… I think I break them too fast for him…

Surprised  Radio, I think something is still wrong with your email… We have sent you a couple of recent builds on 3.0…  and to my knowledge, he hasnt received any feedback yet… Tongue out  of course, I hope Andy counterdicts me…

Andy will probably get upset, but we hope to take a beta version of 3.0 live on this site this coming weekend… its shaping up very nicely…  if all goes well, a few select beta testers might  get it a week later… 

As to the original issue, I will get to testing that in 3.0 soonest as that shouldn’t be happening…

Radio: Yes - I keep emailing you and trying to send a build but don’t hear back…

Mr Papa: I don’t know about a week later but the developnment is getting into the endgame.

As to these two problems which yes - I class as bugs - I am really surprised it hasn’t cropped up before!
