Support Forum : Users' nickname issue

Hi all,

I noticed that when there is an apostrphe (’) in a user’s nickname the javascript "reply with quote" doesn’t work. I guess it’s because the JS function interpret the user’s apostrophe as the end of the string:

i.e.
onclick="quotePost(’post65210′, ‘<p>Jane’s Conference ha detto:</p>’, 0);" 

I think the "Jane's" should be escaped...

Similarly, when there is an apostrophe (’) in user’s nickname, that nickname is wrongly rendered into the stats window:

i.e.


Nickname= Jane’s Conference


appears in stats as:


Jane/’s Conference 

 

Maybe for this second issue it would be enougth to put a php stripslashes() call…
