Multiple Different types of database errors can occur at any time.


Most of these errors are simple to troubleshoot, some are not. If you do not see your error or a description of it, below, please raise the issue in the forums.


As we solve different types of database errors , we will attempt to update this topic with new posts.

POST2CAT


Database reported error contains the words 'post2cat'. Generally occurs when posting to the forum.


The database table 'wp_post2cat' was eliminated in Wordpress version 2.3. This caused quite an upheval in the developer community as many plugins required this table to opperate properly. As a result many plugins were made which were incompatable with wordpress and each other, but yet appeared to remain functional.


The most common solution to this error is to update all plugins to the latest version available.


Plugins known to cause this issue:

Google Sitemaps. - Old versions will cause this error upon posting. Update this plugin.
