hello :)

I had this plugin working great on my test site, but i cant get it activated on the site i want to use it on. Im running wp 2.6.2 and ive tried your sp forum version 3.1.3 both with and without the recent patches. neither has worked for me. all i get is this at the top of the plugin page

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

any advice would be much appreciated

Deactivate all other pluginsthen attempt to activate SPF… reactivate each of the others in turn once SPF is activated –> AND INSTALLED (2 STEP PROCESS)

And if that doesn't work I would upload a fresh copy because it could be as simple as a file corruption. It has happened before.

i had the mailpress one activated and working initially, thats when this forum plugin wouldnt activate. when i deactivated mailpress, the forums activate and installed fine. and now mailpress wont activate. i think its mailpress not liking my version of php. my test site had a newer version. sucks ass. excuse my language Tongue out

i guess i need to find a new newsletter plugin. mailpress is the only one i could find that didnt require third party mailing list software stuff.

thanks guys, for all your help. this plugin is awesome.  Smile

I just wanted to follow up on this for anyone who may have a similar issue. I checked my apache logs and saw that i had a memory limit problem. i increase my memory limit way up to 50M and everything is working together fine.
