Support Forum : Change installation directory

In preparation for the release of Simple:Press Version 4.0, the Support Forum has moved to a new site dedicated to the plugin. This will also be the future home for Simple:Press Forum.


Version 3.1.4 will still be available for download here in the short term.

newbie here. can i change the directory from /simple-forum to just /forum? i tried it on my computer server a while back and somehow got it to work but i forgot how i did it but i think all i did was rename the directory. but now i tried it on my web host and i get errors because it is looking for the /simple-forum. thanks for any help.

no you cant do that… why would you want to do that? 

If you are trying to change the url of where the forum is located, define the page slug to what you want to be and update the spf option on the manage options page…  the directory has nothing to do with the url to the forum…

well, when my post was duplicated, likely by hitting enter twice, I went back and edited (I still can'tl do that Cool) the second one to say what it says…  I couldnt delete it…
