Support Forum : changing from wp-forum to Simple:Press forum

In preparation for the release of Simple:Press Version 4.0, the Support Forum has moved to a new site dedicated to the plugin. This will also be the future home for Simple:Press Forum.


Version 3.1.4 will still be available for download here in the short term.

And now for a stupid question….


Up to now I have been using wp-forum before I “discovered” simple:press forum.


Is there a way to import the data from the wp-forum to simple:press? Otherwise I will be faced with either starting from scratch or leaving things as they are, which I would rather not do….

Go the the plugin download pages and select 'importers'.

Brilliant Andy, it worked….. there were certain problems with the database prefix though, i had to alter a few lines in the script.

yeah, looks like I got sloppy and hardcoded the database prefix for the wp-forum plugin…
