is this plugin compatible with new wordpress 2.6.1?? Have anyone upgraded?? Please let me know as i want to upgrade my wordpress if it is..

yes its compatible… I have half a dozen sites running 2.6.1 and the latest released SPF 3.1.3

I have updated my wordpress to 2.6.1 and it was working good till i installed some other plugins like mycaptcha… now when i try to post any reply i get a blank screen…. even i have deactivated all latest plugins but still problem is there.

And after disabling the new plugins again dod you clear your browser cache and run more than one forum page? If one of those new plugins broke the javascript - for example - than can hang around in the cache. Just for the record this forum is running under WP 2.6.1 as well.

I also received blank error when i try to activate, deactivate plugin, save post in admin area etc.. finaly i deactivated simple forum and all is good now…. no error on admin side…. what should i do now??? I am now planning to delete the whole plugin and reinstall it… what do you suggest??

I deleted the whole plugin (i mean this simple press forum plugin) and reinstalled. … its ok working now….

I thought I might add the one feature added in wp 2.6 that we might not be compatible with as we havnet had time to check it yet, is if you try to run the wp-admin with SSL…

well another reason of that is that i used google adsense code in the hook….and after that i started receiving that blank message.
I think that wordpress 2.6.1 is fully compatible with it.
In fact whenever i write some thing in hooks between return'****', the plugin and whole wordpress starts giving problems. Same problem started when i inserted some text in hooks and at that time i only replaced only hooks file….. so it means something is wrong in hooks using.
either i am not using it in proper way or there is bug regarding it.

We have users out there who have made use of hoks and indeed, I have done on this site from time to time. There is no problem that I am aware of. Why don't you send me the code you used (via email preferably) and I can see if i can notice any problem with it.
