I can't figure out what CSS to change/add to be able to set a color for links within posts - can someone point me in the right direction please?  I'm modifying the midnight theme http://castletv.net/forums

It appears you are using a modified midnight skin…  careful about upgrades, your changes will be overwritten… better to create you own skin…  copy the whole skin directory, give it new name and make sure the css file matches the new directory name exactly…

to you href question…

find this css class in the midnight.css file (around line 644)

#sforum .sfposttable td.sfpostcontent a {
    overflow: hidden !important;
    text-decoration: underline;
    color: #958C6B !important;
}

and change the color statement to whatever color you want the text to be…

Yes - I'm aware of the problems with modifying existing themes - I started off just tweaking a couple of things so wasn't too worried but now I have it looking like I want I'll make a copy under a diff name.

I'm sure I tried altering the color in the area you suggested and it didn't work, but will try again

Thanks

It worked that time - not sure how I got it wrong the first time, or maybe when I checked the browser just didn't refresh properly or something.

Thanks again
