hi guys, hi papa,

i have a problem with my design since my forum update.  if you look here you will see that the comment field is smaller than it use to be and that everything to the right and around it has a different color!  do you know what might have happened to the style?  otherwise the update went great as usual :)

oh and than what wasn't before the update it the “reply” field at the end of the forum, is it possible to turn that off?

and one more thing, the login button aswell as the inbox seem to be aligned to the left, how do i get it back to the right?

oh and i'm glad you guys got my do the math problem fixed, where i had to different colors for post a topic and respond to topic… great work…

thx in advanced

I have no idea what might have happened but your 'sf-framework.css' file has been overwritten with the contents of a web page…! You need to replace it.

I am afraid it is still the same as before. So the backup is also corrupted. You need a fresh copy from the plugin zip.

you mean simply download 3.1.3 again and copy over the standing plug in?

It will be the safest way. But (at the moment) it looks like you only need to copy over that one file.

I say 'at the moment' because until that is corrected it's not possible to tell if there is anything else corrupted as well.

i replaceed the file from the original download but it still didn't work!  I then though what would happen if i remove the 3.1.3 update and replace it with the backuped 3.1.2!  after doing so, the forum was back to normal.  although without the update…

so now i installed on the working 3.1.2 forum the 3.1.3 update, and i have the same problem.  although the problem only occures when i use my cutomised midnight style.  although that same style works with 3.1.2.  do you think i can send you the style.css and you could look over it?

Well I've just paid a visit and everything looks fine.

My guess is your have not cleared your browser cache. I believe the original uploading of the sf-framework file would have been OK if you had cleared your cache. But at the moment - looks good.

That IS a bug that has been covered here many times,. Go into forum options > Global tab and uncheck the Quicktags editor,.

So are you seeing it display properly yet - I still am…?

no i still can't get it displayed properly!  i think it has to do with my cutomised midnight css.  although it worked with 3.1.2 which i am running at the moment! if i use the original midnight everything is fine (except for the yellow text) as soon as i turn on my cutsomised midnight i get the display failures…

does a style css have something to do with a “cutstom page”?  because a month or so ago, mr.papa help me out making a custom page, that is way my forum is now a wide forum.. if you go to the “start page” of my blog, the forum use to be under our logo and to the right of the side bar.  could it be that the css has a line it it that only works with 3.1.2?

No - and in fact we made NO CSS changes in 3.1.3 so apart from moving the folders around nothing in styling was changed.

When I visit your site (and I see you are using 3.1.2), the forum is not particularly wide…

[aditional] if you want to put 3.1.3 bck I can take a look to see if i can  see anything in the CSS.
