Hi there!
I'm having some display issues from time to time as you can see in the following screenshot:

It appears at different locations in the forum, not only in the “last post” area. When I reload the website everything is fine. Any suggestions?
The link to my website is: http://www.dennisklemme.de/blog
The link to the forum is: http://www.dennisklemme.de/blog/?page_id=108
Thanks in advance for your time.
Best regards, Dennis

It's hard to tell without a current live example but I suspect that that users display name has some sort of embedded html in it or at least some stray character. Are you able to take a look?

Thanks for the quick reply
As far as I can see the users disply name has no sort sort of embedded html in it.
Here is an other example of the display issue:

OK that wouldn't apply there. Is this consistent? Does it display the icon path instead of the icon every time you load a page or is it random?
Do we need to look at other plugins you have loaded? (Yes it if it consistent) Or do we need to look at some random event?

Visiting your site using Firefox (Mac) I am not seeing any of these problems. But I am getting a blank page on first load and then having to refresh to get the site…
Anyone have any ideas?

Unfortunately it's random…
Here is a list of the other plugins I have installed - maybe that helps:
Akismet 2.1.8
All in One SEO Pack 1.4.6.14
Google Analytics for WordPress 2.6.3
Google XML Sitemaps 3.1.0.1
NextGEN Gallery 0.99
Simple:Press Forum 3.1.4
Twitter Tools 1.1b1
WordPress.com Stats 1.3.2
WordPress Database Backup 2.2.1
WPtouch iPhone Theme 1.3.5
XML Google Maps 1.10.2

I'm using Safari (Mac OS), but friends of mine got the same display issues using different browers (IE, Firefox, …)
Sometimes I'll get a blank page on first load too and I have to refresh the site. Maybe it's a problem with the Wordpress theme I'm using?

Any suggestions regarding the blank pages?

The only time I have seen this was with an older copy of wp-cache. Have you ever had that installed?

or your max execution time set in php.ini is so small that its timing out…
check your server error logs for any indications of what might be going on when the blank pages are served… I say blank, but they do get your black background, so the page starts loading, but stops for some reason…

Nope - my first version of Wordpress I had installed was the current one.

The max execution time is set to 30 by default. I'll check the error logs.

Now the display issues are gone… I deactivated some plugins I don't need any more and set the max execution time up to 60 seconds and it's working just fine.
