Oh my,
I'm getting the following error at the top of my page:
Hopefully it isn't fatal-but what does it mean? I really am not a database person!

You can only see it if you're logged in as the administrator.
WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'ORDER BY post_id DESC' at line 3]
SELECT DISTINCT forum_id, topic_id FROM wp_sfposts WHERE ORDER BY post_id DESC;

I dont believe its a big issue, but not sure why you are seeing it… Its related to displaying the users new post list, but I dont see a new post list on your site because I am a guest…
Could you please tell me your settings on the spf manage options panel, the global tab, in the Quicklinks dropdown section? do you have the display quicklinks dropdown checked? and what value do you have in the number of new posts to show?
And only the admin sees? not members or moderators? all forum pages? or just certain views?

Interesting.
I've added a second administrator (initially to grant you access to the site) but the error doesn't show up as the second admin, only with the first one.
This error occurs in Mozilla, IE, and Safari.

Aha,
We solved it. The error is some sort of bug that has to do with the Quicklinks dropdown menu. If you set it to 0, don't have it checked!
Good eyes, good call, thanks for your help. You guys rock–this is a great program.

thats what I suspected… still, we shouldnt throw an error for that condition… I will log a ticket to prevent that from occurring…

Oh heavens no it doesn't look like that. I copied and pasted rather than take a screenshot. I just downloaded Firefox 3 today–beautiful app! I'd highly recommend it.

btw, this issue is fixed for the next release… you will be able to put 0 for your post count… this will allow you to get the forum link dropdown but not the latest posts dropdown…

That's really great. I can't believe how much work this project must have been for you gentlemen–bugs or not it looks and works wonderfully. My forum is already filling up!
