Hey everyone,

Been looking forward to place an RSS Feed entry on a widget in my website to show the last entries in the homepage and at the time I suscribed to it using Google Reader it gives me something like this:

Webmaster EncendidoDespués del Encuentro…

Where “Webmaster” is the name of the user who posted, “Encendido” has to be some kind of status or something like that, and next “Después del Encuentro…” is the topic of the post.

Also tried displaying as RSS widget where I get this collation issue and what I was telling you above:

My website is in Spanish, everything working OK on forum, just wanted to know how can I fix this stuff.

Ok… I think I got it.

Since all the translated strings come from the .mo file in spanish (that I translated and submited to you) I found that the “Encendido” string goes for this:

[Name of Poster] on [Post Tittle]

When I was translating I just literally translated the “on” instead of “en” (in spanish) with “Encendido” that goes for “turned on”(in english).

Now I guess it will get fixed.

Still have collation problems when I try to add a RSS Widget in my bottom sidebar at the home page for an specific forum group just the way you see it in the screenshot in my first post.  Special characters with “´” like “á, é, í, ó, ú” display as a question mark among other special characters as well.

That's now the thing I don't know how to fix.

I confirm, first problem is fixed.  Now feed Tittles show: [Name of Poster] en [Post Tittle], where “en” is spanish for “on”.  It was a translation missmatch.  I'm checking this with Google Reader.

But the second problem, as you can see in the screenshot, was not in the tittles since there are special characters in there.  The problem with collation is in the post content.  I think an important note is that I took screenshot before modification of the file.

So I've modified the file the way you indicated me and there is still no change.

Right now, you can see at my website the widget in my bottom sidebar with the corrected first issue but, if you notice, the feed tittles have special characters, same as before taking the screenie.

Tittle shows:

Webmaster en Cumpleaños de Jesús Chavarria - Viernes 5 de septiembre. 

But the content for that entry shows:

Oi galera, Chucho Chavarr�a me pidio les extendiera esta invitacion, les dejo la informacion…—–Fiesta de cumplea�os de Jes�sAmigos,� como muchos de ustedes ya saben, ando festejando mi cumplea�os junto una de mis mejores amigas (Chela) quien tambi�n acaba de cumplir a�os. La fiesta ser� este viernes 5 de septiembre. Ojal� pudan asistir, la cita es en:El caf� art�sticoESCARABAJO BLANCOMorelia No. 97 en la Colonia Roma http://www.myspace.com/escarabajoblanco_cafe Habr� m�sica, buen desmadre y barra libre durante un buen rato (solo chelas) y despues se abre la barra del lugar para consumo normal.El lugar ser� totalmente nuestro as� que no hay pex por apartar mesas y dem�s.� Tampoco habra que pagar cover.Los estaremos esperando a partir de las 9:00 pmSaludos

This problem is not in Google Reader where it appears just the way was posted.

Now, to help searching where the problem is, and something that I've never payed attention at is that all email notifications that I recieve as admin (I have that option turned on in my Simple: Press Forum panel) have collation issues same as above.

The plugin is the standard RSS plugin that comes with the instalation of Wordpress.

I think I'll seek for another plugin and give a try.
