OK, the 404 error issue was driving me NUTS!!

I checked all over and read every forum post I could find. In the end it was a plugin conflict.

The offending plugin? Dagon Design Sitemap Generator. I wasn't even using it after it was activated. Figures. I just thought it might help to share. I had version 3.13 isntalled.

Post your own offending plugins here to help others keep some of their hair!

Thanks for the tip.

For the record, Arne's 'Google XML Sitemap' plugin works just fine with the forum.
