I have installed the forum as a page on my word press site but when I click the View Forum button I see nothing but a normal page with the title Simple Forum. I have changed the template for the single page. Is it possible I removed something that would make the forum not be displayed properly. The link to the forum is http://www.liveelated.com/sf-forum
Please help,
Jerod

a couple things to check…
1) have you actually installed the forum… after activating the plugin, you have to install… look for link under the wp admin menu for the forum
2) make sure in the sfp admin options page that the page id and slug match your wp page…
3) you might need to refresh the spf permalinks… look in the toolbox tab in the spf admin options page

I just had a look at your site and I believe I can solve the propblem quickly.
On your site, open the ABOUT page in the wp editor.
Look at what page template that page is set to.
Close the about page (DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING)
Open the sf-forum page and set the page template to the same template your ABOUT page uses.
Save changes and view page.
The Forum should show up instantly.
it simply looks like you forgot the wp thecontent() tag in the forum template, but it also looks like the About page is using a template that is exactly what you want anyway.

I tried switching the single.php theme page out and deleteing it altogether and that still didnt make the forum show up. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. I can give one of you admin access to check out for yourself.

have you looked at the online help in the 'Installation Troubleshooting' section at the topic 'Nothing Displays'. And if so have you checked your header theme file for this?
