Hi

My needs are relatively simple — in my setup I will need 3-4 forums with topics in each, with no need for “forum groups”. I can of course put all my forums in one group, but I think this puts an unnecessary extra step for the user to get from my home page to the topic/post he wants to check out.

So the question is: is it possible to have forums without “forum groups”?

if you are going to have 3-4 forums then how are you going to show those? If you wamt users to go straight to the topic listing for a single forum how are they goinmg to get to the other 2 or 3? Somewhere the forums need to be listed don't they? What is the difference between listing them outside of a group or within a group? - it comes down to the same thing
