Topic: Functions not working
Dear Support,
I have this odd error whenever I try to use the following functions > edit posts, pin topic, report or delete post, none of the above works. Once I click on any of the said functions, it will simply open a new page (_blank) and nothing happens after that.
This is my website: http://sgnitecycle.com
and this is my forum: http://sgnitecycle.com/forum/
Thanks in advance.
Eric Lim

The only time we have encountered this in the past it was some sort of plugin conflict causing it - at least that is how I remember it! I am afraid I do not recall which plugin it was although I will try and search for it here.
Can we start by asking what plugins you have installed and active?

I don't know all of these but I can identify a couple that have caused a conflict in the past so it is worth looking into those first.
Google Analytics has been known to cause some js conflicts.
Lightbox (at least tbhe one named wp-lightbox) has also caused problems because at least one version included an older, beta copy of the prototype library.
I would suggest deactivating them one at a time just for a few minutres. Between each plugin deactivation, refresh the browser page and then try the admin tools again.

I am also going to guess cforms 9.0 beta
I'm fairly sure the latest version of cformsII is the compatable version, I'm not so sure cforms is compatable.

Hi Guys,
I’ve tried disabling my plugins one by one to troubleshoot and finally resolved by deactivating this plugin - SEO Smart Links.
http://www.prelovac.com/vladimir/wordpress-plugins/seo-smart-links
I will go through the options of SEO Smart Link and see if its able to co-exist with SPF, thanks for the help anyway and I’ll update once I have some test results. Cheers! ![]()
Updates:
*Test Results completed!*
SEO Smart link can co-exist with SPF as long as you uncheck the “Open external links in new window” option.
Now my SPF’s issue has been completely resolved. Thank you!
Cheers!

I actually have a very similar issue, and none of the plug-ins mentioned as possible conflicts.
I have a user flagged as an Administrator, with all forum function capabilities. However, when that user attempts to use the tools a window pops up with “access denied”. I've checked and rechecked the permission settings and all is as it should be.
Plugins:
Search Reloaded 2.11 ShareThis 2.3 Simple:Press forum 3.1.4

Thanks - looks like both fixes you linked to is what we'll have to do, because neither moderators nor administrators can perform the functions they need to. Will let you know if I continue to experience issues.
Edit: yup, both fixes worked for what I had going on. Thanks again!
