I can only type one line that is why my signature just says “Regards,”
The box below the “signature” say's to link to a photo.
Then everything is centered with a box around it…. very unprofessional.

How would a mortal understand any of this?
Are there any video tutorials on this or is this just for coders?

not following you…  assuming you have given users permission to use signatures, in your profile, you should see a text entry box for your signature and another text entry box below that one for an additional way to add, in addition ot the text stuff, for an image in your signature…  note my signature - an image and text…  you can type a fair amount of text into that text entry box…

what exactly were you wanting to put in your signature?  You can also use some html in your signature…  currently, the html in your signature is limited to the same html that can be used in comments on your wp site…  in the 3.1.3 bug fix release that should drop in the next couple weeks, we have increased a little bit, the different html that can be used in sigs…

sorry, no videos available…  sorry you dont like the appearance of sigs - personally, I think sigs look good (mine for example)… however, you can style them away to your hearst content…  just change the sfsignaturestrip css style to your hearts content…  no way to please everyone on that appearance - thats why we give you css to style…

Mr. Papa:

Thanks.. let me try to be clearer. As you know when the average person joins a forum they know nothing about html. They just type. There is only one line to type in. If you hit enter to try to get to the second line… your done.

The first box says it is for the signature… but you cannot really put in your multiline signature. This is really a big deal if you are trying to address the general population that can only follow directions and just type.

The average person has no idea as to the instructions for the second box.

How would I go about changing the sfsignaturestrip css style to accomplish my goals for a signature block that is not boardered and can have multiple lines?

I really do appreaciate your support and any assistance you can provide.

Best Regards,

Mack
